Nokia recently revealed about a mid range smartphone specifications, But we came to know that its a tablet and not smartphone. Antutu last week confirmed that Nokia latest device is running on Android Nougat 7.0 based on  midrange smartphone specs.

But Nokia has some other idea, With D1C Nokia is going to aim the an Android-based home entertainment device. which can also be a competitor to Samsung 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet.

According to a GFXBench listing D1c has a massive 13.8 inch display which to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU coupled with Adreno 505 CPU packed up with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage with 9GB user accessible.

Nokia is getting back with massive smartphones and its already announced tie-up with Finnish mobile manufacturing firm, HMD Global to build company’s next generation Android smartphones.The D1C will become the second tablet after the not so successful launch of Nokia N1 in January 2015.

Nokia D1C runs with Z Launcher based Android 7.0 Nougat and has split view multitasking and improved doze mode. Nokia D1C will also feature SIM card support along with support for sensor like pedometer.D1c will be expected to launched soon in first quarter of 2017 or before that.
