From the hardware perspective, the Gionee S6 features a 5.5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels resolution) Amoled display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the S6 comes powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor.It also entails Mali0T720 GPU to enhance the graphics of the gaming apps. The processor is coupled along with 3GB of internal RAM.On the back of the Gionee S6 is a 13MP primary camera which further comes equipped with an LED Flash. The Elife S6, which measures 151.9×74.6×6.9mm, is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers a customised interface called Amigo 3.1.It mounts 5MP shooter at the front which can be efficiently used for clicking pictures and for video calling in appreciable quality.

Furthermore, there is room for memory expansion up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. On the connectivity front it arrives with 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB Type-C port.
